Senior Full-stack Software Engineer – Amsterdam
The Senior Full-stack Software Engineer is a key member of the development team of a project, providing technical leadership and mentorship to medior and junior software engineers. They are responsible for designing and implementing software solutions, working closely with project stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that the solutions delivered meet their expectations. They also play a critical role in ensuring the quality of the codebase and continuously improving the development processes and practices.
Our Senior Full-stack Software Engineer
- Leads the development team (by example) and ensures the technical direction set by the IT Architect is followed by the team.
- Cooperates with project stakeholders to understand their needs and ensures that the solutions delivered meet their expectations, but also challenges the (proxy)
- Product Owner in refinement meetings to keep things simple.
- Develops high-quality software solutions according to project specifications and requirements.
- Mentors junior members of the development team and provides guidance on technical best practices.
- Participates in code reviews and provides feedback to other members of the development team.
- Takes ownership of the overall quality of the software solutions developed
What you bring
- At least 5-7 years of experience in software development with a focus on technical leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of software development concepts, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and algorithms.
- Thorough experience with Python (Django)
- Experience with frontend development using React
- Passion for technology and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Nice to have: experience with DevOps work (CI/CD pipelines and IaC)
