From prototype to product

Your prototype works. Now you want real customers to use it.

You have built a first version: yourself, with AI or with a developer. Now you want to turn your prototype into a product people can use every day.

GlobalOrange assesses what you can build on, works with you to define what your first users need and takes your product into production. With a technical foundation and clear support arrangements for the next stage.

Ready for the next step?

A working demo builds confidence. When customers or colleagues rely on your product every day, new questions arise.

  • Do users have the right access, and is their data protected?
  • Will the product support more users and connect to your systems?
  • Can you keep adding features and resolve problems quickly?

Keep what works

Your prototype holds valuable knowledge about the problem, the solution and your users. That is our starting point.

We assess which parts can support further development. Sometimes targeted improvements are enough; sometimes a component needs a different foundation. We make the choice between extending, partially replacing and rebuilding explicit, including the impact on functionality and investment.

How we take your prototype into production

  • Define and assess

We discuss your users, business case and key assumptions. Then we assess the code, architecture, security and integrations. Together, we choose the features for the first release and identify risks and dependencies.

    1
  • Build and validate

Product management, UX and engineering work in manageable steps. You regularly see working results. AI supports development where it helps; our experts choose the approach and oversee product decisions and technical quality.

    2
  • Launch and improve

We prepare for launch with tests, monitoring and clear support arrangements. Where appropriate, we start with a limited user group. What we learn in practice shapes the improvements and features that follow.

Start with an informed plan

Before you commit to development, you get a clear view of what the first release requires:

  • What we will keep, improve or rebuild.
  • A defined scope for the first users.
  • The main risks and dependencies.
  • A proposed approach, delivery phases and investment estimate.

You discuss product, usability and engineering with one team. Your knowledge of users and business processes helps us set the right priorities.

What you gain

Invest where it matters

Let real users start with the features that deliver value now. A clear scope helps you spend your budget on what is needed and makes it clear what can wait.

Understand your technology

You understand the main risks and the decisions behind your product. Security, integrations and maintainability receive attention appropriate to the agreed use.

Plan for continuity

Clear arrangements for access, knowledge transfer, maintenance and further development reduce dependence on a single creator. Your own team stays involved in the next step.

From first version to everyday use

BlueMed started with a prototype and business plan for better communication in wound care. Together, we developed the Exsudo platform. Artura shows how an initial MVP can grow into a digital product.

Frequently asked questions

Can you work with a prototype built using AI?

Yes. We examine what you have and assess whether the design and code suit the intended use. This includes data handling, access rights, dependencies and testability. How the prototype was built is one part of that assessment.

Does my prototype need to have been tested with users?

It helps, but it is not a requirement. If user needs are not yet clear enough, we start by validating the key product decisions. This helps avoid extensive development before we know which features deliver value.

Does everything need to be rebuilt?

That depends on the quality of the prototype and the product requirements. We first assess what can be reused, then make the trade-offs between extending, partially replacing and rebuilding explicit. Even if code is replaced, the product knowledge and user insights remain valuable.

How much does it cost, and how long does it take?

That mainly depends on the state of the prototype, the features for the first release and requirements such as integrations and security. After an initial assessment, we develop a scope, delivery plan and investment estimate so you can decide whether to proceed.

Can you keep developing the product after launch?

Yes. We can also support further development and maintenance. We agree who is responsible for monitoring, maintenance and support, and how new features are prioritised. These arrangements reflect your organisation and the role of your own team.

Discuss your prototype

Show us what you have built. Tell us who will use it, what you want to achieve and where you are getting stuck. Yvo is happy to help you explore the next step towards a product ready for real users.
