Xpenditure: simplifying expense claims with web and mobile apps
From receipt to accounting with less manual work
Xpenditure, formerly CardWise, wanted to simplify expense claims. The company brought experience in expense management and needed a partner to turn that expertise into a useful digital product.
GlobalOrange developed a web application and native apps for iOS and Android. We analysed the workflow and designed the applications around business users’ tasks.
This case describes the development of Xpenditure, which later became Rydoo.

Starting with the expense claims workflow
The aim was to reduce time-consuming steps in expense processing. That required a clear understanding of how business users submitted information and how it was processed afterwards.
This analysis shaped the interaction design. Web and mobile supported the same process, with ease of use as a shared starting point.
A product with room to grow
The service architecture allowed additional instances to be added as usage increased. Its modular structure supported further development and maintenance.
As a development partner, GlobalOrange contributed to product decisions and their translation into software, combining knowledge of financial processes with users’ everyday workflows.
