From old to new
IDchecker enables the online verification of identity documents. Initially, IDchecker developed an Adobe Flash application. As more and more browsers stopped supporting Flash and it required a plugin to use, IDchecker had the product redeveloped — this time using modern, widely supported technology. By combining HTML5 with JavaScript, GlobalOrange developed an application that works on desktops, tablets, and smartphones. The application is immediately usable on Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS, and Android. In addition, it is designed to integrate easily into customers’ existing websites.
