Hospitality businesses wanted to spend less time on cash administration and identify discrepancies sooner. Kasstaat enables staff to enter cash counts online and track revenue, discrepancies and open receipts in one place.
GlobalOrange developed the platform and provided technical and functional application management within the collaboration. After the first release, the product was developed further in short sprints based on market feedback.
The original case reports an MVP delivered in three months and a 50% reduction in administration costs.

From individual cash counts to a central overview
Staff enter cash counts digitally. Managers gain insight into revenue, cash discrepancies and open receipts without first having to search through boxes of paper receipts.
The platform was connected to Winsale by Eijsink, Twinfield, Exact Online and AFAS, aligning cash administration with systems hospitality businesses already used.
The collaboration built on an online ordering tool previously developed for hospitality businesses.
Developing the product around daily practice
Users helped shape the roadmap. Their feedback became improvements the team could deliver in short sprints.
GlobalOrange took responsibility for functional and technical application management within the collaboration. This allowed Kasstaat to focus on customers and the development of its service.

A usable MVP in three months
A simple interface was essential: different staff members needed to submit data quickly and clearly. The design therefore followed everyday hospitality workflows.

Further development followed actual use and feedback, allowing the product to evolve with the needs of its users.
