How much does app development cost?

How long does it take to develop an app?
The timeline depends on complexity and how quickly decisions and feedback are available. A simple first release can be built quickly; a complex app may take several months. We agree on a realistic initial scope and show you working software throughout development.
Does my app need to work on both iOS and Android?
We decide this based on your users. A shared codebase can be useful for iOS and Android. Sometimes a web app is a better fit, or specific functionality is needed on one platform. We consider usage, integrations, maintenance and cost together.
Will my app automatically include AI features?
No. Human-Agentic Development describes how we develop the app: people work with AI agents. Whether AI should also be a feature in your app is a separate product decision. We add it when it solves a user problem and can be applied responsibly.
Can you improve an existing app?
Yes. We first review the current code, usage and bottlenecks. Together, we then decide whether targeted improvements, refactoring or rebuilding is the best next step. This helps you invest in what the app actually needs.
Will I retain control over the code and further development?
We agree on ownership, documentation and handover upfront. Established technology and access to the code allow you to develop further with GlobalOrange or another team. External services and components remain subject to their own licences and terms.
Is this suitable for start-ups and internal business apps?
We work with established businesses, scale-ups and start-ups. Start-ups need the budget to build their first release properly from the outset. For internal applications, we can also provide a dedicated AI Product Engineer who spends an agreed monthly capacity on automating your business processes.
